May 15th- overall storyline completed

My plan is not to go over $40. As I am printing 4 pages of my book on one piece of paper this shouldn’t be an issue. I also intend to bind the book myself in typical comic book fashion with 2-3 staples in the middle.

Design Planning (50)

My design choices are not entirely decided yet, but I will be using the ‘comic life’ program which will save much time as I do not need to design the layout on my own.

1. Page Size – what size will your pages be? Why?

There will be two pages per 11x17” page. Therefore each page will be 8.5x11”. It will be this size so that I can make the most use of my paper while keeping my images a decent size.

2. Print media – What will you print on? What size?

I haven’t decided exactly what type of paper I will use yet, I will decide once I have figured out my image medium.

3. Printing technology – What type(s) of printers will you be using? Why?

I will get my pages printed at Kinkos because their printers are designed for that amount of work and I think it would be easier (and potentially cheaper) than buying all the paper and proper ink myself.

4. Layout and grids – Include a large rough sample layout

5. Typography – which fonts will you be using? Be specific. Why?

I will probably use “comic sans” to keep with the Comic book style.

6. Colour(s) – set up a colour pallette for your book and include it with your

I intend to use 2-3 staples in the spine and I will do this myself.
