Questions for BOOK, Maarij

1. What is your book about?

My book is going to be about numbers. It is going to show the actual meaning of the amount of a certain material, objects, people, and even things such as the number of chromosomes in x chromosome, etc.

2. What makes your content choice specific to you?

Seeing a picture of an actual number of a certain thing makes the impact of the message so much greater. I want to show people the actual meaning of numbers and what they actually mean such as the death count or birth count of something.

3. How are you going to represent your content?

I will be representing the book with mostly pictures of the ideas that I am trying to convey. I am going to use few words to no words, except when necessary.

4. How do you intend to communicate the content?

Using different symbols to represent each theme in the book which will most likely be either random or related to biology.

5. What content editing methods will you use?

All the editing will be done using the computer and mostly programs such as Photoshop and Corel Draw.

6. What media are you using to make your imagery?

Mostly photo editing programs such as Photoshop or vector based programs such as Corel Draw and Fireworks.

7. Why are you making this particular book?

To show the beauty of numbers represented for each different theme. To pass a message to people that actually reaches out to them by showing them the amount of something represented by pictures.

8. How does your choice of content suit your skills, experience, and interest?

I have a passion for numbers and the idea of creating something that is structured out of random ideas that I come up with. So my Photoshop skills will definitely come in handy when I am trying to contrast this book.

9. Describe the style and look of your book and how it is linked to the content.

The cover will most likely be about numbers but I still have to come up with something more creative.
