BRAND and PlANNITNG: My brand is for illustrations. I planned to creat a logo something that is simple, cute and eyecatching. The colour I used was blue and green. The reason I chose those colours is because those colours comforts people's eye. My logo is a handmade style (Which means that I did not use any computer programs like photoshop) because that shows my personality.(I like something that is made by hand). The tool I used for my logo is just a marker and pencil crayon. I like to illustrate by  using pencil, pen, markers and pencil crayongs.(somethimes pastel too).  My intended audience are people who want illustrations for their CDs,books, magazines, book markers, calenders, diaries, school equipments and also people who want main logo or main characters for their clothes brand(escpecially babies). 

MY LOGO: I drew a character with happy face for my logo to express how enjoyable my illustrations are.

I drew a green bud to represent "imaginations" and "tree of ideas".

I usually get  ideas from my imaginations for my illustration.   

TWO IDENTITY SYSTEM PIECES: (business card and stickers)

I chose to make a business card and a sticker because it is easy to spread out to peoople.

My business card is also handmade and my stickers too. I did in this way to express my (free) style.

I wanted to approach to my intended audience with a comfortable image.

STATEMENT: Mint’s illustration is about creating and drawing something you imagined. The style of illustrations are very colourful and eye catching and somehow it gives some kind of a mood (happy, sad, mad and more). Also my illustrations contain mostly, human beings with a unique (?) fashion. I also like to draw a picture that contains surrealism (not realistic, something shocking that no one had attempted to create). I also try to design illustrations that contain deep meaning in to it.

Since my logo represents fun and imagination, I usually draw a picture that makes happy and exciting.

Also I wonder if I did this assignment correctly...I hope i did.
