Hervetica question.




Watch the documentary Helvetica and answer the following questions in full sentences (20 marks)

1. Describe Helvetica – what are some core visual characteristics of the font?
Hervetica is typography, trands of graphic design and global visual culture that was deveploped by Swiss typeface designer Max Miendinger and Eduard Hoffman in 1957. The visual characteristic of hervetica is that it is neutral. The interrelationship between the characteristic of hervetica is powerful matrix around the surface of space.

Manuel Krebs and Dimitri Bruni don’t like hervetica because they like restriction, and like more simple typeface. (They said that Hervetica has too much expression).


5. Having just watched an entire documentary devoted to a single typeface, what is your position on Helvetica? Explain.
I think I like hervetica because it has many varieties of font styles. Since there are many different styles of font, I could use them well to express what I want to express. Also it is very useful to use hervetica every where (It is globalized). Also I believe that if there was no hervetica, the life would be less fun.
